Daum Games revealed a new Black Desert Online trailer coming during Paris Games Week. Accompanying the trailer reveal, it also announced that there will be a hands-on demo of BDO. The alpha test will take place from the 28th of October until the 1st of November at the Paris Expo.

Black Desert Western server
The western title is Black Desert Online, and Daum Games said European and North American with the full release expected in early 2016. While unlike its free-to-play Korean server, the developers are employing a buy-to-play model for the North America and Europe release. It will require a one-time upfront box price, like Guild Wars, with optional vanity and convenience (booster) purchases. The gameplay balance and progression will be adjusted accordingly.
Things you need to know about the Alpha test
The Alpha websitewill go live this Friday, October 23 and all Alpha key holders will be able to download the game.
A limited set of keys will be made available through online communities and fan websites as well as Back Desert's official social media channels.
If you've git an alpha key, you'll be able to grab the client on Friday at 1:37pm CEST (4:37am PDT/7:37am EDT).
Community managers will be on-site to answer any questions and there will be a special treat for anyone who plays the game at the BDO booth.
English will be the only language option, and many features will be locked or absent.

About Halo 5: Guardians

Halo 5 Vs. Destiny
The two are plenty similar, especially when it comes to naming conventions (plenty of Guardians, Osiris, etc.) but Halo still has the richer story. Destiny has changed the way we think about shooters.
Destiny's guns have real impact. When you shoot an enemy, you feel the shot connect. Halo 5′s shooting feels kind of floaty by comparison.
While I never really noticed it before, the HUD in Halo is really distracting. I prefer the minimalism in Destiny.
In Destiny, weapons really matter. You don't simply discard a gun when you run out of ammo and grab a new one. Sometimes you gain a real emotional attachment to your weapons. Halo 5's weapons are disposable.
Halo 5's campaign is fully co-op, which is sort of weird. Even in Destiny, outside of strikes, I can play solo.
Destiny mixes multiplayer and single-player seamlessly, and since you're always trying to improve your character there’s a real sense of ownership, right down to the tremendous amount of customization options. Halo 5 isn't the only game to fall behind in this measure. Something like Star Wars: Battlefront or Titanfall also miss out since you don't really have this blending of solo and multiplayer content or this notion that your characters actually matter.
