Why You Should Start Using a VPN

I have recommend some games in my previous articles. You may find some of them are regional blocked, and a VPN or proxy is needed for unblocking games. But you may be puzzled about what is VPN? VPN means Virtual Private Network, a secure tunnel between two devices. It will change your IP address, allowing you to reach the limited web sources.
vpn functions

What you choose to do with a VPN is a different story. Usually, VPN users fall into a few separate categories: students, workers, travelers, downloaders.
The student/worker
This person uses a limited internet provided by their school or company. You network are supervised by the provider. VPN can help give you a more secure connection to your company/school's network.
The travelers
This person wants to watch his native online streamings when he is on a trip out of his country, without dealing with their crummy local networks. They want to check out their favorite TV shows as they air instead of waiting for translations or re-broadcasts (or watch the versions aired in other countries,) listen to location-restricted streaming internet radio, or want to use a new web service or application that looks great but for some reason is limited to a specific country or region.
The downloader
Whether they're downloading legally or illegally, this person doesn't want on some company's witch-hunt list just because they have a torrenting app installed on their computer. VPNs are the only way to stay safe when using something like BitTorrent - everything else is just a false sense of security.
Some combination of the above. Odds are, even if you're not one of these people more often than not, you're some mix of them depending on what you're doing. In all of these cases, a VPN service can be helpful. We all rent access to the Internet under, often rather ominous, terms and conditions from an Internet service provider. Or, when you're away from home, you gain access through a network under terms you aren't even privy to. Even if none of the above really sound right to you, you can still benefit from using a VPN - that's online security. You can always fire up your VPN when using airport or cafe WI-Fi to ensure no one's snooping on your connection. Much like a firewall protects your data on your computer, VPNs protect it online.
The most used VPNs are: FlyVPNHideMyAssIPVanish, and PureVPN.

Final Fantasy XIV Korea

Final Fantasy XIV release date

The South Korea server for Final Fantasy XIV will finally launch on 14 August, under publisher Eyedentity Mobile. Most probably be the last server to launch. It is uncommon for an online game to launch last in South Korea, and Final Fantasy XIV Online is just going to do that. Online service for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn was available from September 30, 2010 to November 11, 2012 in four languages: Japanese, English, French, and German. Final Fantasy XIV Korea will start off with Patch 2.2, and game producer Naoki Yoshida stated this version will get updates faster. The Pay-to-Play business model is retained, which seems risky in the kingdom of Free-to-Play games.

How to play Final Fantasy XIV Korea OBT

The Open Beta on August 19 is for Korea only. To have a Korea IP and bypass the regional block, we'll need VPN service. Besides the fact that VPN service ensure the personal privacy is protected, this service is also used to enable players play games they like from any region they are. A Korea VPN enables you play the game wherever you're living now.

Follow the steps to get a free Korea IP:

Step 1: Download VPN Client from FlyVPN.
Step 2: Input your FlyVPN account. If you haven't got an account yet, you can use their free VPN accounts. As the Korea servers are listed in free account 'vpnu', please use 'vpnu' and its password. The VPN provides 3 free connections per day for users, and the password would constantly change. SO PLEASE MAKE SURE TO COMPLETE THE DOWNLOAD WITHIN LIMITS.
Step 3: After login, select 'Send All Traffic Via VPN' as traffic type.
Step 4: Click region tab 'Asia' and select Korea servers.
Step 5: Click 'Connect' button.

How to lower ping in games

Players are all desire to find a solution to almost lagless gameplay. Having a ping of 38ms means that your actions are 38 milliseconds late. However, the average human reaction time is around 150ms, so having a ping around this value is like having a 0 ping. The ping between 100 and 180 is pretty decent for online gaming. But it is always better to try to lower game ping if you can. In my previous article, I recommended use a VPN to reduce ping in a game. Below are a series of other solutions to follow.
reduce-game-lag
1. Make sure no other programs are running in the background. That means close open programs, exit programs on the system tray that you do not need, not close every process on task manager.
2. Upload is more important than Download. So, when it comes to online gaming always choose an internet plan with a better upload speed.
3. Get your phone and other devices off the wifi. Other devices are stealing the bandwidth meant for your gaming, even if they are doing nothing.
4. Find and change to the best DNS server for you, to speed up overall internet access. Public DNS are usually helpful.
5. Clean the inside of your computer.
6. Install a 3rd party network mointoring service. The program will run in the background and give your game full priority of bandwidth over other programs.
7. Download a gamebooster, which temporarily stops process and services that are not need.
8. Use an Ethernet cord instead of wifi, that makes your connection much more reliable and faster. Use a new form of wifi standard for a more reliable wifi connection.
9. Restart the modem or router. Just unplug it, keep it that way for 5+ seconds, then plug it back in.
10. Power off the network for several minutes before start of the play if it gets heated.
11. Optimize Internet connection with SG TCP Optimizer. It is a free program for Windows. The tool uses advanced algorithms to find the best TCP Window for your specific connection speed.
12. Add your game to your firewall's "Allowed" list. This will reduce the time that it takes for game-related information to leave and enter your network.
13. Disable unnecessary drivers and windows services.
14. Turn off your antivirus's updater off.
15. Play on local or nearer servers. The closer you are physically to the server, the lower ping you will get.

How to reduce ping in games

With the development of online games, numerous fantastic games come out, leading players try their best to improve their skills and get higher rank. However, most players always meet latency and lags when play games. A VPN is targeted to fix ping issues you come across when play online games.
lower game ping
The remaining hurdle for online gaming comes from the challenges rooted in connection speeds between distant servers. If you're having problems with lag in online games - other players appearing, disappearing and jumping around - it could be that your ping is too high. Lag, latency and dropped packets can result in a terrible gaming experience if you are playing multiplayer game. Ping doesn't just affect games, but a large ping time is very noticeable when timing is crucial. Every second counted in games, lag can kill your character as any quick-reflexed opponent. A large part of the delay is purely due to the local speed and the distance between the locations. The best and most used solution is using a VPN to reduce lags.
Not only enable players unblock the regional restrictions games, a VPN can also reduce lags in games. A VPN gives players a stable connection when gaming online. A high quality game VPN allows you to connect to distant servers without compromising on the speed. There are a lot of factors that could be increasing your ping, but one important factor is the distance between you and the server you are connecting to. With VPN service you will create yourself a tunnel where you can play limitless private games on a simulated local area networks. Except eliminate lags, its IP cloaking and tunneling process is actually very useful when engaging in multi-player gaming.
There are a variety of fixes and solutions you can use to lower ping, and improve the performance of your network and computer. We will introduce other methods in later articles.

How to unlock game?

It is annoyed but very often video game publishers limit, restrict or block players in a certain geographical region from accessing the games they bring for public sale. To bypass the regional blocks of games, we'll need a VPN. We're just using it to trick Origin into thinking we live where we don't.
unlock game

It's a well-known fact that all the game players have a big confrontation with not being able to play games they like because the game publisher is blocking certain country or IP. The game access blocking take place because there are local publishers operating and representing the game in a certain region or country. In order to play games from anywhere in the world using any international servers, players need a VPN. With VPN service you will create yourself a tunnel where you can play limitless private games on a simulated local area networks with international players.
If you're in a zone that's enter into a day among the earliest, congratulations! If you're not, then - even if the game's pre-loaded, and players in other countries are playing in - it won't allow you into the game. You need to wait more hours or days because the release time of your country haven't reached. Use VPN to hide your IP and location. The outside world will see only VPN server's IP address and location - never yours. This way it gives the possibility to access the game just like the player would be in unrestricted geographical region.

What is a VPN?

Put simply, a Virtual Private Network, or VPN, is a group of computers (or discrete networks) networked together over a public network - namely, the internet. A VPN can make it seem like you are in another country, so you can unlock services and games that are normally blocked.
